Whether it be in history or in the present day, great figures, states, organizations and conglomerates have tried to wrestle their way to the top of the world. Their endless squabble is what has laid down modern civilization. Their bodies are what the next generation stands upon in their reach for the top. What's at the top? Endless riches, fame beyond measure, eternal pleasure. No. There's quite literally nothing there but loneliness and a quick fall to the bottom. Ink was used because it was historically popular in East Asia, and there is a lack of appreciation for the media in modern art. It also blends together well, which was important as I wanted the figures to seem to blend together.
